History
1- ADR = road transport. The European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR), made in Geneva on September 30, 1957 under the authority of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, entered into force on January 29, 1968
2- IMDG = sea transport. The IMDG code was developed as an international code for the maritime transport of dangerous goods in packaged/containerised form in order to improve and harmonise the rules on the transport of dangerous goods and to prevent pollution of the environment
3- IATA = air transport. IATA works closely with local governments and ICAO to develop regulations. Thus they ensure that the rules and directives on the transport of Dangerous Goods are effective and efficient.
